Niall Scannell selected to play against Wales
Niall Scannell has been selected to play in the opening U20 International v Wales on Friday night (live on RTE 2 7.05 ko). He is one of just two Munstermen in the side, a third, James Rael is on the bench, as replacement hooker.
Niall missed the U20 interpro series as he recovered from shoulder surgery over the summer, he only started a game for the first time this season just two months ago, making it such a great achievement to get back to full fitness and selected for international honours so quickly.
