Dolphin had a bright start with a try from full back Alan O’Sullivan after just four minutes. Dolphin dominated the first quarter but slowly the home side got into the game and two converted tries within minutes of each other put them 14-5 ahead at the break.

Cork Constitution kept the pressure on early in the 2nd half and a 3rd try put them 19-5 ahead. But Dolphin did not give up, they replied with a try from close quarters from prop Luke Jordan to reduce the gap to 19-10.

In the last 15 minutes first Dolphin then Cork Constitution lost a man to the sin bin and the extra space led to a further three tries, Dolphin’s was aother forward effort with Luke Jordan being credited with the score.
