AIL Blackrock College 18 Dolphin 13
A game both sides needed to win. Dolphin went into the lead after 12 minutes with a try from Emmet McCarthy, converted by Daryl Foley. They held the lead until Blackrock equalised with a converted try 2 minutes from half time.
The home side struck early in the 2nd half with a penalty, a lead which Foley soon equalised.
Both sides traded penalties at it was 13-13 into the final minutes, a draw was on the cards until the 80th minute when Blackrock scored a try to give them victory and the sides trade places in the table with Dolphin now in 9th place.
Dolphin need good vocal home support for next Saturday when they play Nenagh, as both Nenagh & Blackrock are just a single point ahead of Dolphin in the table
