Carrigaline-Dolphin finished off an excellent season with victory in the South Munster U18.5 Plate at Rathcooney.
The first half was a very tight affair, while Carrigaline-Dolphin took an early lead, Midleton, aided by a strong breeze scored two ties which were converted in difficult conditions. Carrigaline -Dolphin narrowed the gap to 10-14 before hitting the front for the first time with a 3rd try on the half time whistle.
Carrigaline-Dolphin added four more tries in the 2nd half, Midleton finished the game the stronger side, the referee having found fault with two of the Carrigaline-Dolphin players and was down to 13 players.
