The U 14’s were in action on Thursday night in Ballincollig in the Development Plate Final. Skibbereen scored five converted tries while Dolphin managed three tries, two of them converted- (25-19)
The U 16’s took on Highfield in the South Munster U 16 Final at Curraheen Road on Saturday. The Woodleigh Park side got themselves into an eight point lead 15-7, the sides trading converted tries from there on.
It finally finished 29-21 with Dolphin’s tries coming from David Curtin (2) pictured scoring above and Harry Cogan who kicked two conversions, Eoin Murphy getting the other.
The lads can be proud of their performance, unfortunately on the day it was not to be, but a good future beckons these players.
