Munster U16 Bowl victory for Crosshaven/Dolphin

A game that had it all, an excellent start and nerve wrecking finish.

After a few minutes 2nd row Cian Herlihy scored the opening try which was converted by Patrick O’Connor. He later kicked a penalty while Fermoy also scored an unconverted try.

Fermoy were the stronger side in the 3rd quarter, they may regret not taking the opportunity to kick at goal from a couple of penalties around the 22 when trailing by 10-7 as they came away empty handed. They did however later score a converted try to take the lead by 14-10.

The last 10 minutes was spent well inside the Fermoy 22, wave after wave of attack led to penalties but the Fermoy defence was excellent until the last play of the game when Crosshaven -Dolphin  winger Tom O’Connor scored the winning try
