Our Girls And Womens Section Needs Your Help!
The Good News…
In Spring 2021 we set up our Women’s and Girls sections from scratch with a small but enthusiastic group of coaches.
You may remember seeing around Christmas that the 100th player had been registered. The numbers continue to increase, we have full Girls U12 + U 14 sides and play U16 amalgamated with Ballincollig and U18.5 with Cobh Pirates.
Our Women’s Senior team recently beat Mallow 54-0, their first ever competitive victory.
The Not So Good News…
The number of Coaches and Team Managers has not kept pace with the increasing player numbers and we find ourselves in urgent need of assistance.
They train Monday & Wednesday nights with games some weekends.
Perhaps a current or recently retired player could give an hour or two even one evening and it could make a big difference. There are also more admin roles for someone who is not from a rugby background.
