Dolphin got off to a good start with a penalty after just 2 mins from Conor Flanagan, however, UL Bohemians struck back almost immediately with a converted try. They struck again with another converted try and these 2 lapses saw Dolphin 14- 3 down after 6 mins.

It took another 33 minutes before the next score, another penalty from Conor Flanagan but there was still time for a 3rd converted try for UL Bohemians leaving Dolphin trailing 21-6 at the break.
15 minutes into the 2nd half and a 4th converted try saw the hosts virtually out of sight. With 15 minutes to go Dolphin improved performance led to an unconverted try from out half
Yet again UL Bohemians struck back within a couple of minutes and scored try number 5 to extend their lead to 33-11.
Dolphin threw caution to the wind in the final minutes and when they ran with ball in hand they were looking threatening and crossed for tries from Andrew Dorgan & Alex Denby, both converted by Conor Flanagan.
Unfortunately they ran out of time and and 33-25 missed out on a bonus point by a single point.
