Last year 35 girls and women joined Dolphin RFC due largely to their commitment as embodied in their written policies that all discrimination, gender based and otherwise is not tolerated in the club. Those numbers have grown 3 fold in that time. Just as gender discrimination is against our club ethic, we also feel that it should also not be tolerated in Munster and the IRFU. Unequivocally any AIL team should bring a Senior designation to their club irrespective of gender along with representation and resources accordingly. We will support any motion put to that effect and wish Ballincollig RFC well in their efforts.
