The first rugby game played at the Aviva Stadium was an exhibition game, 10 years ago today  on 31st  July 2010, billed as the O2 Challenge, involving under 18 and under 20 players from all four of Ireland’s provincial sides.

Taking on the combined Leinster/Ulster side was a Munster/Connacht side which contained Rob O’Herlihy, Dave O’Mahony, Daniel Horgan and substitute Ian Mullarkey.

But few on the combined Connacht/Munster side will recall the scoreline with any great fondness, you could ask them what was the score.
