We would like to recognise the generosity of our members and the Friends of Dolphin who contributed to the success of the Club in the sales of the Your Club Your Country tickets.
Last season with had a 4th place draw winner, unfortunately this time around we did not feature, only one prize was won in Munster.
With an ambitious target of 1,000 ticket sales, Club Chairman Noel Hickey, Dave Kirk and a very small number of volunteers hit the target with a couple of days to spare, and even exceeded it by a small number . The IRFU confirmed that we were one of 21 clubs that hit the 1,000 ticket sales, and the effort in the final 2/3 days brought the club to 10th overall. Interestingly the top eight selling clubs were Junior Clubs, we were the 2nd Senior Club, a further 22 tickets and we would have been number one. Speaking of number one, the top selling club generated revenue of almost €24,000.
Thanks again to everyone who contributed to the running costs of the club and the volunteers who contributed to the raising of these so necessary funds under the current environment.
