In April 2021, Dolphin Women’s & Girls had their first training session, who would have foreseen 28 months later Munster announcing a Munster U18 side with 3 Dolphin Girls starting, including a co-captain.
Dolphin are the only club with three starting players.
Congratulations to Niamh Crotty (co-captain- pictured above) Megan Crilly & Lily Byrne who are starting in the pivotal positions of (15), (10) and (12) against Connacht in Musgrave Park.
This is in addition to Lucia Linn and Sofia Carty being capped last season.
A special mention about Lily Byrne, her club games this season will be at U16 as she is still eligible for this grade.
The kick off on Saturday is 12.45 pm, come on out and support them.
At 3.15 pm is the Women’s Senior Interpro between Munster & Ulster, who both won last weekend.
The Dolphin Bar will open for the first time this season and remain open for TV coverage of Ireland v England at 5.30 pm.
