Dolphin came out to the wild applause of the Minis Section.

With all games, particularly the home ones being vital, this was one we had to win, and win we did.

With the wind behind them in the opening half, Rainey put it up to Dolphin but the Dolphin defense held firm. It was Dolphin who got the only score of the opening when wing Darragh Buckley fed full back Eoghan Herlihy to score a try, converted by Daryl Foley.

In the 2nd half, Dolphin doubled the lead with a try from a maul by hooker Phil Dowling which again Foley converted.

The final try really got the crowd to their feet, a great individual try by substitute Dalton O’Shaughnessy and once again Foley added the extras.

Dolphin have now narrowed the gap to 8th place, only behind Malahide on points difference.
