Following last weeks opening game defeat in Dungannon, Dolphin needed a result to take them off the foot of the table and they did it.

While the early performance was promising, it was the visitors who got the opening converted try. Dolphin then drew level with a try from captain John Fitzgerald, converted by Daryl Foley who also picked a penalty to give Dolphin the lead 10-7 at the break.

It continued to be a close affair, Daryl kicked a further two penalties and the sides exchanged sides. A 3rd try in the last 10 mins left the Dolphin support very nervous but the Dolphin defense stood firm for Dolphin to take the four points by virtue of a narrow 21-19 victory.
