Not a pretty scoreline, plenty for the coaches to work on, some simple errors were costly on the scoreboard, errors that often happen in the first game of the season especially in wet and blustery conditions.

Its the forwards who will be happier with their performance, having stolen at least three opposition lineouts, honours even in the scrums, however, one stood out when the home pack were driven well backwards and the ref was forced to blow for a Dolphin penalty when it collapsed.

The game as a contest was over well before half time with the home side crossing for five tries. The Dolphin defence was much better in the 2nd half, the home side scoring again in the 60th & 76th minutes.

Dolphin will be in action again on Saturday week against Clonmel, at home in the Munster Senior Cup.
