Dolphin XV V Cork Constitution
By Aoife O’ Callaghan
After a disappointing Charity Shield campaign Brian Scott’s men were back in action once more this weekend as they took on local rivals Cork Constitution in round one of Munster Senior Cup in Musgrave Park.
It was the homeside that got first score on the board as new signing Tomas Quinlan slotted over a penalty in the 6 th minute.
Unfortunately that would be the only score for Dolphin for the duration of the game as Cork Con ran in eight tries and a penalty within the remaining 75 minutes.
At the final whistle the score-line stood at 51-3 to Con.
With great performances from Matthew Barry, Rob Reardon and James Rochford and a clearly dominant scrum all is not lost for the Dolphin men.
All sights now turn to October 1 st when they take on Queens up north in the opening round of this seasons All Ireland League.

We would like to thank Watermans Printers for their support.
