With less than 100 days to go to the 3rd International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament host club Sundays Well RFC, are getting ready to welcome over 1000 players from around the world to Musgrave Park in Cork from the 5th to the 10th of June. Mixed ability rugby is played by adults with and without disabilities on the same team, with just minor adaptations to the game such as non-contested scrums.
 
With 82 games of rugby, 28 mixed ability club sides from Argentina, Canada, England, Italy and more, will battle it out for the world title and more importantly the Spirit Trophy awarded to the team that embodies all that is good about inclusion in sport. Ireland will be represented by hosts team Sunday’s Well Rebels, West Cork Jesters, Ulster sides Banbridge Barbarians and Malone Tornados and women’s side Ballincollig Trailblazers. This is the first year that the Tournament will have a women’s element, with 4 teams from around the world. 
 
The tournament will run from 5th-10th June. The event organisers are looking for volunteers to helpincluding referees and , touch judges, to pitch marshals and general volunteers.
