Dolphin will be disappointed with the outcome of this game, having controlled the game at periods but a few lapses in concentration allowed the visitors away a bonus point victory.

Dolphin had an early dominance in the scrum and the referee no no choice but award Dolphin the opening score, a penalty try from a scrum. UL Bohs struck back when they had a man in the sin bin, there was more than a bit of luck in it, a speculative kick over the Dolphin winger who went back to gather the ball, stepped the winger but his kick was blocked down went back 10 meters and the 1st man caught it and it resulted in a try.

While Dolphin were trying to get over this, UL Bohemians were in again and it was 7-12 at the break.

The visitors had to face the wind in the 2nd half but it took only two minutes to see them stretch their lead to 7-19. Dolphin did not give up and a Rob Reardon try, converted by Daryl Foley brought the gap down to four points.

Dolphin defended well and later took their chance through a 2nd penaty try from a scrum (without a card) and led briefly 21-19 before the visitors kicked a penalty to go 21-22 ahead.

A further converted try made it an eight point gap and Dolphin had to throw everything at it and in the 85th minute a turnover ball led to a final score of 21-36.
